I sent this email to Dr. Zach:
Zach,
I read a lot of your podcast text and listened to the first one. Great work!
I have become an avid reader of PT since K vs. D and got to your site through a recent PT post. As great as PT and TO are…they are apt to loose a lot of people as they rapidly drift off into the uncharted depths of scientific jargon. Your mission…to bring the knowledge to the much wider audience of the less-scientifically-inclined .…is indeed a worthwhile endeavor. I found your explanations to be clear logical progressions of the information being conveyed.…they added a lot to my own knowledge base. Being able to do this as well as you have done is a far-too-rare talent.
Thank you for your efforts. Much appreciated!
Cheers,
Really interesting site, I’m listening through a bunch of them right now. Excellent stuff.
One thing I am finding is that they’re mostly aimed at people with little prior engagement with the material. Does anyone know of podcasts that present more advanced content? Or does content of this sort tend to hit the “so where’s the frickin’ blackboard” bound on the medium’s capacity?
Did you really say ‘loose’?
He’s a science nut, not a grammar Nazi.
kahn.…thanks for the spell check.
Corkscrew…Grammar Natzi…LOL…Too bad there is no “grammar check” for grammar dolts like me.
(sigh)
Actually, that’s “Diction Nazi”. The grammar was fine.
