In the Taipei Times we find an article from the NY TIMES NEWS SERVICE titled ‘Pastafarianism’ gains prominence and support in intelligent-design drive

Indeed, 95% of those responding stated that they were “in favor of teaching Flying Spaghetti Monsterism in schools.” Five percent suggested that he would be going to hell.

In addition the website “Boing-boing.net mounted a challenge: “We are willing to pay any individual US$250,000 if they can produce empirical evidence which proves that Jesus is not the son of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.”

Even the People on the street agree

Are you familiar with the Flying Spaghetti Monster theory?

“Yes. I think it is every bit as legitimate as creation theory.”

— Tanya Dusin, cost accountant, Lawrence

“No, but I can go with it until it’s disproven. It’s as viable as any other unproven theory.”

— Lane Stallbaumer, Kansas University freshman, Lawrence

“No, but I have heard about gravity being called into question. They’re calling it intelligent falling.”

— Craig Stancliffe, attorney, Lawrence

“Yes. Global warming is a serious problem and the only solution is to increase piracy around the world.”

— Nate Schrock, technical and customer support, Lawrence

Arrguh. whoops, let me rephrase that … Arr, tis not what ye THINK ye believe, tis whot ye knowe! Yer soul-less spiritin of yon pastifarians will nay be within the artickles! May I add that two weeks ago in the german “DER SPIEGEL”, online and paper, you would have found this article.

How does PASTAF ARIANISM explain this then http://physicsweb.org/articles/news/9/9/1/1 eh?

Scientific experiments have now shown that the FSM has multiple aspects like the Trinity, but better because, rather than just an anemic three, FSM has “as few as three to as many as ten”. http://physicsweb.org/articles/news/9/9/1/1

The mystery of FSM is also of a higher level than the Trinity. We don’t wonder how it can have three different and contradictory aspects simultaneously. We wonder how it can have 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 groupings of aspects simultaneously.

It is wonderful to have these basic tenets of Flying Spaghetti Monsterism confirmed by modern scientific scholarship. It contributes so well to the massive recent archaeological support for FSMism.

The abuse of the “good herbs” (garlic and oregano) when indulging in the Pastafarianism rite of “carbo over load” could have major long term health consequences.

The Dallas Morning News religion section today, Sept. 10, 2005, features an article on evolution and intelligent design, opening with an account of Pastafarianism.

Oh, my!

If you hurry, you may be able to see it at Dallasnews.com.
